Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 July 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Forge (“we”, “us”) for use of the Forge app. By creating an account or using Forge, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who can use Forge

You must be at least 18 and using Forge for your business or trade. By using it you confirm the information you give us is accurate.

Your account

Keep your login details secure and do not share them. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

What Forge does

Forge helps you create invoices and quotes, track expenses and mileage, scan receipts and manage customers. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the service.

Free trial, subscription and billing

New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial.

When the trial ends, your subscription continues automatically at £13.99 per month (or £139 per year if you choose annual billing) unless you cancel before it ends.

Payments are taken securely by Stripe and renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.

We may change our prices, but we will give you reasonable notice before any change affects you.

Refunds

We do not usually give refunds for part-used billing periods, but this does not affect your statutory rights. If something has gone wrong, get in touch at [email protected] and we will do our best to help.

Your data and content

You own the information you put into Forge. You give us permission to host and process it only so far as needed to provide the service to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for having the right to store your customers’ details.

Tax and financial responsibility

Forge is a tool to help you produce invoices and keep records. It is not accountancy, tax or legal advice.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your invoices and VAT, and for meeting your own tax and legal obligations. Always check the figures before you send anything.

Acceptable use

Do not use Forge to break the law, to send spam, to infringe anyone else’s rights, or to attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to the service.

Availability

We work hard to keep Forge available, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may occasionally need to carry out maintenance or updates.

Liability

Forge is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Forge at any time by cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Export anything you need before you cancel, as access to your data may end.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use Forge after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
